Dear Atrium Healthcare Center residents, families, friends, and doctors;
I hope this letter finds you healthy & safe!
We at Atrium want to do our best to keep you informed of what Atrium Healthcare Center continues to do in response to the pandemic. Atrium Healthcare Center has available a separate area dedicated to Covid-19 recovery to best accommodate any residents that may require care during this time. We will be moving residents as required, temporarily, into a designated recovery area and once medically cleared, they will be able to return to one of the other units. In transparency, since our recent outbreak we have had 12 positive residents a and 6 positive staff. Those who test positive will follow all CMS and CDC isolation requirements. We will continue to track these numbers and inform you of changes as they occur. Please know that all residents that test positive or are suspected of having the virus are being safely quarantined from all other residents. Everyone is vigilant with mask wearing, and we continuously encourage distancing.
We are proud to announce that we have achieved 100% vaccination of our staff! We have also been administering booster shots to all staff and residents who are eligible to receive them.
Any family that would like to arrange for any type of visit, FaceTime, Skype, or a phone call can contact the social services department to arrange it at (773) 973-4780. All spontaneous visits will be accommodated as infection control protocols allow. They will be able to provide additional details regarding the screening of visitors prior to each visit, as well as the PPE that will be required. As we continue our journey back to ‘normal,’ it is essential that we do so with caution, and follow all health department guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation with us in the ongoing effort to keep our residents safe.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and pray that everyone stays safe and well.
Sincerely,
LaMicShaya Kelly
